A crab-apple tree provides food for the local mistle thrushes when the going gets cold!

  

  Taken on 1 February 2009 in Jordanstown.  By this time most of the crab apples had mostly gone.  The mistle thrush is a common resident in the British Isles.  Sometimes called Storm Cock.
